Boston VS Leafs

Pick who would you criticize from the Leafs on the Game 7 lose to Boston.

Randy Carlyle obviously.

I think it was a lot of people's fault like Reimer let in some goals he could have saved, Phaneuf wasn't leading the team and playing not solid defense, Carlyle should have told them what to do instead of have a scramble and the goal just happened it was very unlucky.

Phaneuf wasn't leading because they overplayed him.
Carlyle put the wrong people in at the wrong time.

I truly agree about the Carlyle thing but Phaneuf should have pushed Chara away because he was screening Reimer.

Jason, Phaneuf wasn't on.
Besides, Bergeron scored not Chara.
McClement was on and that is good, but the put on Kadri and Frattin when they should've put on Kulemin and Grabovski.
They had Liles and O'Byrne playing defence when it should've been Gardiner and Franson.

I say it's Carlyle's fault too because he puts on Phaneuf too much when we had other defenceman that played well through the series. I think Phaneuf got tired in the last period of game seven because Carlyle put him on too much.

Phaneuf was not on when they scored. I agree that Phaneuf had been playing too much, he averaged about 25 minutes and in Game 4, he played over 30 minutes. But Phaneuf had to play that many minutes or else the Leafs wouldn`t have gone this far.

Yes they would have if he didn't play.
